Both Kaufman trailers seem to have good prices and good delivery fees. Anyone have any opinions/experience with either, or an opinion as to which is better?

Thanks.

Those are good prices, but we can get those prices locally from all-pro trailers in Florida. I wonder what the cost delivered would be to Ma. its has to be 1,000 miles give or take a hundred

seems to be around $400 or so, which doesn't strike me as unfair. Sadly, up in the North East it seems to be a lot cheaper to buy elsewhere and get it shipped up.

I recently (last week) took delivery of a 22' with 2' dove tail, 14k flatbed GN from Kaufman of TX. I am very happy with my decision to go with them and with the trailers fit/finish so far. He (Andy from Kaufman) told me it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery (it was a custom build). I got it in 4-1/2 weeks I think it was. I think it has allot of nice features and seems well built.

I originally was going to go with a Big Tex trailer from a local dealer but it would have been several thousand more and would have also been a 4-6 week delivery time. I think Big Tex makes a fine trailer but IMO their prices have gotten way outta line. I would buy another one from Kaufman. I may look into a dump someday and they make a darn nice dump too. They had a 16' dump the delivery guy was towing behind my GN and I got a chance to look it over, very nice and reasonably priced as far as dump trailers go.

Here's what I got and the total delivered ($600 for a GN) to California if it helps you.

-Gooseneck hitch (adjustable 30k rated)
-20' flat deck with 2' dove tail (22' total)
-Fold down ramps (adjustable and spring loaded)
-Front tool/chain box (LOTS of room to fit tools and chains)
-Dual 10k drop legs (spring loaded)
-Spare tire/wheel
-Stake pockets instead of pipe rails on the sides
-Dual 7k axles (they are dexter easy lubes with 16" wheels and 10 ply tires)
-Brakes on both axles (tell them if you want a 7 pin trailer plug, they come standard with 6 pin)
-I think I hit the major points..........$4380

Let me know if you need/want any more info, Hutch

Thanks Hutch - that sounds like a very nice trailer. Glad to know you are pleased with how well built it is.

Did you consider the NC Kaufman at all?

Yes I did consider them, I called and started doing some price comparing and basically the main reason I ruled them out was they wanted $1000 for delivery versus the $600 from Kaufman of TX. Hutch
