Any other Gator owners?

I have had my Gator for about a month now and absolutely love it. Anybody else out there have one? JD has put a few teaser pictures of the new High Performance Gators, Compact Gators and their new ATV's on their website. A local dealer told me that the ATV's are built by Bombardier.

Go to JD's website. Click on RESIDENTIAL, then click on the GATOR picture. Then there will be a menu, Click Other Gator Models.

I just picked one up last week for $750. 6x4 gas model that needs some plastic and a battery. I thought the kids would be the ones worrying me to hurry up and get it going, but it turns out the wife is chomping at the bit to get that baby on the road! At least I should be getting around the pits at the drag strip in style next season!

We purchased our right when they came out. Very, very realible. We have a 4x2 and just installed new highbacks seats on it from the older gator 6x4s. Looks like a new machine. It will devour any Kubota UV!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I stoped by my JD dealer on monday and they were unloading one of the new compact Gators. That thing is cute! It is about 2/3 the size of a full size 4X2. The bed is between 3 and 4 feet square. All of the body panels are made up of composite (plastic) materials (including the bed). Thay said it is going for $5000. It looked like they were going around 20 mph in the parking lot!

They go 15 miles an hour. Thats fast for that small of thing. Did your dealer by chance have the 4x4s in yet? Mine has not and I am really anxious to see them.
