Any property related New Year's resolutions??

Assuming the snow does eventually melt and the weather warms up, I've a long list of things to do that I didn't get done as much as I would have liked last year:

1. Actually PLANT those early crops such as spinach, Swiss chard, onions, etc. instead of just talking about it until June!
2. Take down those large, dying Sugar Maple trees. Must be at least 2 years worth of firewood in those suckers.
3. Clean out ditches
4. Rebuild some collapsing stone walls
5. Build more raised garden beds, and perhaps even give the hoop house thing a try on a small scale
6. Have a "conversation" with those dam beavers that are blocking off the stream on our property
7. Some needed repairs to roads... culverts... sheds... machinery...

Yikes, I can only hope my expectation matches my ambition come Spring! I'll report back in the fall with an update...

I would like to plant more Aptos Redwoods down by the creek... tyring to create a mini redwood groove.

I resolve to NOT delve into any further TBN inspired projects...

... I predict a dismal failure in this regard!
