John Deere 4410
I love my JD 4410 4WD hydro, but it does not have stick control for a front-end loader. I mow about 3 acres including steep hills. I need a 72" cut and loader. Any recommendations?

What HP size are you looking for? 4x4 or not? What dealers are within a short drive for you? Most everyone has their favorite brands so I'm sure you will get many different answers. I have within an hour of me John Deere, New Holland, Mahindra, Kubota, Yanmar and Massey Ferguson. I have went with MF on my most recent purchases. I like the build of their units and the dealer so far. The Yanmar guy is 2 miles from my house. Yanmar looks like a decent machine but the dealer has just never endeared me. Last summer I ordered some PTO staff stock from them. I'm still waiting to receive it. After waiting for 3-5 days I had the local NAPA order it and had it in a day. I want to buy a tractor from someplace where I will get top service. That is very high on my list of what I'm going to buy in a tractor.

If you have a cabelas close that stocks tractors, they do have some good pricing on their closeout tractors. Tym makes them and will be tasked with warranty service. Almost all of them have loader.

Have you priced adding the parts to your tractor? Looking at deere parts it appears to have kits for the conversion and install. That should be the least costly way to go. It could be that the valve is in place already but may need the linkage and joystick added.

Roy hopefully will jump in with advice as I think he had one of these tractors.

Thanks for the reply. I called a local dealership on that very idea several years ago and it was 4-5000 bucks??? What parts were you looking at?

I looked on the deere parts website at the kits available for the 4410. If you look at the diagrams and the tractor you should be able to determine whether you have the valve body in place or not. If you do then you only need some linkage installed. Doesn't hurt to look.

Ok. Would you mind sharing a link to the website you were using? I looked all over last night with no luck.
