i've been using a husqie ZTM 48/17 for the past 5 years and have had great service from it... can't complain a bit... but it just wasn't heavy duty enuff to take the beating we give mowers here on the farm...
i use a finish mower to do most of the mowing, but i like the Z's to mow around the barns, sheds, and along fences...
this time around, we got the cub cadet tank with the 48" deck and 23 hp kawasaki engine... it looks pretty durable and rides good...
i'm wondering if anyone else is using one and can clue me in on what to watch for...
i know one thing... it doesn't do well in mud
got it stuck today and had to walk out and get my wrangler to winch the mower out of the mud...
sort of hit the wet spot and stopped moving
just started spinning...
the husquie was pretty bad about that, but it was light enuff i could usually push it out... this one weighs in a little over 900 lbs without a rider...
i really like the cub so far though... your thoughts?
