Any veggies yet?

Just curious if your vegetable garden is putting food on your table yet. My 30'x30' plot is coming along but a few days from anything to harvest. Looks like yellow squash will be 1st, then maybe a cucumber or two. Snap beans in a week or so, I hope. Yeah, I should have taken some pics.

We've been chowing down on fresh spinach, kale, lettuce, and green onions for a couple weeks now. Sweet corn went in the ground April 22. It's about 3" tall and growing now. Broccoli, cabbage, sugar snap peas, and cauliflower is looking good. Tomatoes go in the ground this weekend. Radish's are growing sort of slow, but still growing. We don't plant beans until late May. Squash will get planted in a week or so. Peppers plants get set out in early June.

Oh sure, rub it in. I'll put the first seeds in this weekend... peas, carrots, spinach, and a few other early crops. My first "harvest" should come in a couple of weeks though; that's when we head into the wild and start picking fiddlehead ferns.

I've got green tomatoes on the vine.. but my peppers have been out all month.. big bells, chillies.. bananna.. etc.. Cutup some for a quiche last weekend..

Hmm...We just pulled the last of our radishes last night because they were too big to leave in the garden. I guess we've made a bushel of them so far and my wife replanted more last weekend.

We've had lots of green onions and last night we pulled some 1" round ones.

Last weekend we had our first turnip greens and turnips. We pulled about a dozen more turnips last night.

This weekend (I think Sunday evening), we will have yellow squash and I'm diggin' new potatoes tomorrow because they are 1" to 1-1/2" already.

Okay...you guys don't throw stones at me now.

Spinach, lettuce, radishes and asparagus have made it to the table. I put my tomatoes in last week, early for here, as well as some of the peppers. The beans are up, but it will be a few weeks before they produce. If I can get into the garden without sinking to my chin in the mud I want to get the squash and cucumbers in, as well as the rest of the tomatoes and peppers. I bet the okra I planted last weekend is up....gotta go look.
