I have a gravel drive and it's getting torn up from use. Typically I'll use a bucket with a bolt on edge to smooth it out. A couple of back drags is all it takes. Lately I've been thinking of trying a land plane, but then I discovered box graders. Lots of videos showing them quickly creating the perfect surface on large flat gravel lots. Well, my drive is has a bunch of tight elevation changes. The 180 turn that cork screws up between the upper and lower levels of the barn is one tough spot. My guess is that anytime the grade is not parallel to the machine the box grader will only cut on one corner. What if the grader was mounted on a center pivot? Do they work as well as the videos show?
