I found a used one today for $1000 that is set up to go on the 3 point hitch, but all I can find online is a picture of one mounted on the front of an old Kubota. Did Kubota make this model in two variants, front and rear? Or did someone modify this thing to change it from a front mount to a rear mount? It looks to be in pretty good shape, but I didn't notice if the 3 point attachments looked like original equipment. I was too busy inspecting the previous-owner-modified chute adjustment mechanism.

Thanks.

Yep, can be used on the 3 pt or the front with the front attach kit. $1,000 eh? I was going to sell mine for about $500 .... maybe I'm too low ;) We don't get enough snow to really justify a blower, mine came with the tractor. The few times I have tried it out it doesn't really throw all that far.

Thanks charlz. I'm in NH and this is the best deal I've found in about 4 months of looking. $1000 for a 20 year old snowblower?! You said yours doesn't throw all that far . . do you have it on the front or the back? How bad is it?

Are you looking for a front, or rear blower?

I had it on the back, even on the 1000 rpm pto setting I think it may have thrown 20 feet with medium-weight snow. I am not so sure the blower assembly doesn't need some work though... there is about a 3/8 to 1/2 inch gap between the blades and the housing.

Someone here has one they run 3pt on a b6100... in Maine I think... if you do a search you may find their name and send them a PM to see how well theirs works.

I'm looking for one under $1000 that works. I've got a BX 2350.

I have recently acquired a Kubota B7100 and a B2551 snowblower. I have most of the parts to mount it in the front but I think I知 missing a few crucial parts (only now I知 trying to figure out attaching that I致e realised). I壇 actually rather mount it on the rear. I知 thinking it might be easier for me to have a rear mount made rather than trying to source. Do you have any photos you can send me? Specifically about where the upper bar mounts to the blower near the chute. Looks like the only place if can go will be not be centred. Struggling to get a good image of this even from the manual. Any help would be great. Cheers
