Bought at auction on a whim. I’d like to know so I can source tines/chains/belts if needed.
Kind of like this?It looks like a Baltic brand tiller sold by Long tractors in USA. Tines are available and parts are available by original parts suppliers. Bearings, seals etc.
I have a all 5’ gear drive tail dragger model, the gear case actually runs in the ground with the tine drive shafts coming straight out the side. It has a shark fin mounted to the bottom of the gear case. The entire thing is very heavy and stout. I replaced the bearings and seals, one bearing had to come from France.
Thanks. I sent a message off to the company who supplies parts for the Baltic tillers, Agristore, to see if they can ID it and assuming it is, what parts are available for a refurbishment. No mine is different but the basic build is like Baltic. My gear box looks like the rear end of a truck and runs in the dirt. That’s why most gear boxes have bad front seals and bearings everything else is built like a tank. They raised the gearbox on their newer models. I was just giving you a starting point.
looks like Baltic brand imported by Long agribusiness
