I was looking into getting lawn vac to help me with lawn clean up but I was wondering if I could use either one of these vacums with my 3030.
Thats not a 3pth mount he just has it mounted to a 3 pth. They don't make one that mounts on a 3pth you have to drag it around like a trailer but it don't swivelamigauser said:I don't have one but I have friends with both the Cyclone Rake and the DR equivalent. I know the Cyclone Rake folks at least offer a 3pt hitch mount. You would need to check with DR to see if they offer one to.
Here is a TBN'r BX user with one.

Sounds like a case of symantics..Thats not a 3pth mount he just has it mounted to a 3 pth. They don't make one that mounts on a 3pth you have to drag it around like a trailer but it don't swivel
I wish they would make one that would mount up(hang on) the 3pth even if it was a smaller capacity.Volfandt said:Sounds like a case of symantics..
The Cyclone rake most definitely mounts to a BX (or any other SCUT) via a 3PH bracket. The CR I purchased came w/2 different type of mounts, a 3ph type and another that bolts directly to the frame (for L&G tractors). I have modified it by adding a hitch ball to tow my trailers around and to mount a home made lawn striper to, it is a versatile 3ph mounted bracket.
It s correct that it does not pivot and this is actually an advantage when it comes to backing up. It's a disadvantage in that it extends the "footprint" of the tractor by about 7 more feet which one has to take into consideration when turning. I find that it is very manuverable but I need to allow for the extended turning radius.
This is my 4th season w/the CR and so far - so good.
I don't know how it would work out on a B3030 but I imagine it would bolt right on up just like it does on my BX23.
Heres a link to other bagging ideas.
