Anyone bought a Markham Toothbar Lately?

I called Markham during the first week of January to order a toothbar. They took the order and said it would be about 3 weeks until they got teeth in stock. Fine, no hurry. Called back to check in about 3 weeks and they say, sorry teeth still aren't in, probably 1 or 2 weeks. Call back this week and they say nope still no teeth, probably here in 2-3 weeks. Has anyone been able to get a toothbar from them this year? They haven't charged my account or anything. I don't mind waiting but it seems to be taking quite a while. I don't know who their tooth supplier is but they seem a bit unreliable. Either that or they are selling so many that they are sold as soon as they come off the truck from the supplier. Antietam tractor in Hagerstown has a huge rack of them in one of their warehouse buildings. Call them, and talk to Justin Reed. Mine cost $325, but I bought it with my TC48DA. They should have something for you. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Got the same answer when I called to check on my toothbar, "another 2-3 weeks, machine is broke".

I belive your statement <font color="blue"> "selling so many " </font> is most likly the case.
Last year I waited 5 months for a set of pallet forks and a toothbar to ship together to keep the shipping costs down.
Never did get the forks, Markham just cant get them.
I just talked to them last week, still not available.
The toothbar did ship in Sept. when I agreed to not wait for the forks.
I think they make so many toothbars there tooth supplier cant keep up.
Hang in there, it will ship Im sure, they are good people to deal with.

Sorry you guys are having such a hard time getting toothbars from Markham. I placed an order last Oct and got it within a week. I'm not meaning to gloat, just pointing out that the company is very efficient so it clearly is some sort of supplier issue they cannot control.

That said, toothbars are not exactly high tech devices. Just about any manufacturer's product should be fine.

I ordered my toothbar last week of December, Markham emailed today & said they should ship next week.

I just placed an order for one today. The lady told me they had 30 more orders ahead of my order. She said it should ship out next week.
