Anyone built and air blast sprayer?

I need an air blast for berries and grapes. I have built a couple of pasture sprayers in the past, but never anything air assisted. I want to build one that will run off the PTO if possible.

Something for berries and grapes should be easy to run off the PTO. I've never built a sprayer but I did build a pecan blower once that was the same basic concept just add nozzles for the spray.

I have 2 air blast sprayers for my vineyard. Bought them both used, but in good shape for $1000 each. Both have italian built pumps and stainless steel tanks.

Do you think you could make your own for that price? Tank, fan, pump, controls, pto, frame.

I have 3 field sprayers of different sizes,that I made using cobbled together tanks and pumps, but an airblast is over my limits skill wise.

Depending on his used market he may not have that option. I know in my area I would be out of luck looking for something like that used.

I have been looking for a decent used one for the last 6 months. GWF used to make them in Gainesville TX, but I think they are out of business. My neighbor had one to spray pecan trees. I saw where a GWF had sold at auction in December, 2015 for $2,000. I have tanks, frame and maybe adequate controls. I need the fan and gearbox mostly. I believe the rest could be fabricated or purchased.

Just come across this post. I know it's old but I wanted to let everyone know GWF Manufacturing is still in business.
We did loose our old shop to a fire.
We moved into our warehouse to continue operation. We are still located in Gainesville Texas.
