anyone change a hose on BH65? tips?

I cut the hydro hose on my BH65 stabilizer arm. any tips on how to replace like what to put on the threads to prevent leaks? How to get to the hose where it connects to the middle of the backhoe? thank you - It looks easy enough but I want to make sure Im not missing something.

If you are only replacing the hose (and not any fittings on cylinders) the hose fittings should be JIC flare - which require no thread sealant as the seal is actually made at the flare and it's seat.
