Greetings,
I Was just playing with the New BX23 getting ready to mow. Took the bh and fel off. Much easier than I thought it was going to be. The reattachment is real easy also, although a little close to the fenders for my taste. Not much room for error.
Then came the power bagger...........nice bagger but the engineer that designed that hook-up should be shot. What a pain in the ***. I do not see the point in having it as a 3pt set-up if you have to unhook the lifting arms to use the mower deck. It makes no sense to have to pick up a bagger with that kind of weight to hook the top arm. Maybe it will go better the next time I hook it up. I do like the fact that when it plugs I just have to flip the shoot up and all the clippings fall out instead of having to reach my arm under the deck like I use to have to do with my deere.
Anyway, to what happened. The knob that adjusts the rate at which the deck moves, came out while adjusting it. I did not force it at all. I was simply turning it and then pop, out it came shooting hyd oil all over and luckily I saw the spring fly out or I would never have known there was one there. Well back the dealer to have them look it over and replace the snap ring.
Take Care
