Anyone else notice Sicma Parts costs going through the roof!

Sicma, the Italian mother company of Phoenix, First Choice, Kleen Kut and many other roto tillers and finish mowers have seen USA parts prices sky rocketing the last 2-3 years. Great quality machines, yes they are! Warehouse stocked parts, Usually. I sell them and I like them, but these parts prices are getting out of hand. I would hat to see a fine company like Sicma shoot themselves in the foot?? Anyone else noticed what I am talking about? Ken Sweet

I haven't noticed any change in the price of Sicma parts. Bought my Sicma 1500 finish mower back in 07 and it looks like the importer never brought in any spare parts. So the price has been 'nil' and remains 'nil'. That really hosed me off coz when I needed to replace the blades I had to go to a local Engineering manufacturer who made them for $100 each; and I needed 3 of them. When looking for one of the brass extension tubes for the zerk for the blade spindle I may as well have been asking for the moon.

Bl**dy good mower though.
