Looks like Deere is going to take a swipe at the BX market. Bigger than a X748, but not as big as a 23xx. I'm listening. :licking:

Looks like one helluva tractor that I'm sure I'll never afford until they are about 10 years old LOL!

Nice tractor aimed squarely at the BX. But, I don't know about those auxillary lights. Just looks like something to break off to me. I like the old 65x/75x/85x lighting as the best solution. Of course, the fendors here might not be wide enough for that, and they have all that other stuff going under them. Or I'd rather have them up on the roll bar.

What would you want something so small for?
My 2210 was too small for many jobs.

Is it smaller than the 2305? It does look like it has less leg room in the picture. That's one of the reasons I bought the 2210 is becuese i didn't feel cramped on it.

Cuz I already gots a big tractor! :D

My 4410 is awkward for certain jobs. If I mow the yard with it, I have at least a half hour of trimming to do with a push mower, as well as another half hour with the string trimmer. With my 455, I don't even have to start the push mower. Right now I'm tilling with my 4410, but it's too big for my garden plot. I'd rather have my tiller on a garden tractor. My tiller's too big for my 455, but I think it would fit that new 1 series just fine.

There are a lot of jobs where a garden tractor or SSCUT (sub-sub compact, if I can coin a term) is a better tool than a CUT. From what I've seen SCUT's are a good choice for some folks, but it couldn't be my one and only. It's too small for a lot of things I tackle and would still have some of the maneuverability issues that the 4410 has in tight quarters.

I wanted a BX when I bought my 455, but couldn't afford it, plus, I've just got a pretty strong green bias. :D I'm thinking if the 1 lives up to Deere's hype, I'll sell the 455 and get a 1 sometime in '12 or '13.
