Anyone experienced with Japanese Silt Grass HELP! !

Also know as Napalese Browntop or Marys Grass. I have about 20 acres of pasture in Central NC, my first encounter with this stuff. Noticed it when mowing and started watching. It seems to double in size every 2 weeks, it kills all the grass when it takes over. Local NC cooperative and NC State College see it along as the same line as Fire Ants. Can only be controlled not eliminated. I bought a pint of $ 600.00 dollar a gallon Acclaim Extra and hit it with a backpack sprayer in worst areas. I do know 2,4, D will not touch it. Once I started learning about it, my home has a large amount in woods also. I am sure brought here on tractors and trucks.
I have some type of ground cover in front of my house ( I am not a plant guy) that has been there for 15 years. Bullet proof no weeding ever. This stuff killed a section in about a month.
Any input, thoughts, or experience would be Very Appreciated !

You're right on the 24D. May knock it back, but won't kill it. The thing I've found is that in the right stage of growth my cows will eat it. It seems to thrive closer to wooded areas here.
