I may buy one of these tomorrow, I'm wondering if the bagger off my 7 year old MTD/Troy bilt may fit with little to some modification.
This would save me $400-500 they want for a new bagger.
Anyways: could you describe how it mounts or take a pic for me?
The MTD/Troy bilt has a seperate bracket that first hooks on the back on either side with a 1/2" or so pin. Then a seperate round hoop bracket that holds the bags slides in from the top onto this bracket. You can lift the round hoop bar over the first bracket and the bags and cover will swing out, happens occasionaly while mowing. Does this also describe the MTD/Cub bagger? Thanks!
