I learned someting from a dealer this week, that I thought I would pass along.
On the 2010 model Ranger Crew, Polaris has a simple built in lift kit- if you choose to utilize it! The shocks all come from the factory in a standard configuration. However, Polaris also welds on some additional shock mounts on the outside of the frame, on all four corners of the machine. You can simply jack up the vehicle, unbolt the shock from their stock mounting points, and move it to the outboard extra shock mounting location. This instantly give you about 2+ inches of lift, and can be done in just a matter of minutes.
I thought this was a VERY cool thing that Polaris built-in on their latest 2010 Crew. Just wanted to pass along the info before someone went and ordered a lift kit.
Take care,
Gary
