Anyone have actual experience with leasing their land for commercial solar?

cell towers are a lot different because the footprint is small compared to a solar array.

I'm sure they are but the chance of the utility screwing over the little guy is the same.

FWIW, yes they will clear when it suits. This is a ~299 acre project that was denied but somehow still got pushed. Believe what you want. This project was voted against, denied and yet here it is. Old growth stuff kept sawmills from here to Pa. overstocked.

The closer up picture is another nearby site, old growth clear cut, 47 acres. Not what I would want to look out my window at. These apparently are one of the percs of living in a “rural conservation area”.
