Anyone know anything about Mitsubishi/Satoh 1220?

Hello,

New to your forums. I just recently bought a place and along with it came a mitsubishi/Satoh 1220 tractor. The year on it i'm not sure, and I can't seem to come up w/ any info. on it on the net. Wondering if anyone has some good info on it such as horsepower, problems, etc. It has a scraper rear blade and a front bucket, also a little JD plow. Pretty cool tractor, but just wondering some details, such as production years, parts availability, PTO use, etc. Thanks a lot for any information.

What is the engine number? Is this a 2 cylinder? I would guess you will tell me this has a KE 55 engine which is 2 cylinder. I have identified 85 Satoh/Mitsubishi gray market models. This would make number 86. Using Satoh numbering this would be a 12 PTO horsepower tractor with about 13-14 engine horsepower. It is 2 wheel drive. 4WD would be a ST1240. I'll be interested to hear what you find. Bill

Thanks for the reply. I will check the engine number next time I'm up at the place. It seems to be 4X4, and says 1220, just on the loader portion though. It is a 2 cylinder motor for sure. I'll get some more info. soon, what exactly do you mean by 'gray' model? Thanks again.
