No doubt. One thing a bit frustrating trying to find used Kubota. There are no shortages of used JD if one searches on www.machinefinder.com but very hard to find the same level of used Kubota. )

Isn't that web site primariliy for John Deere dealers.. I know they say all Makes, but I don't believe it.

I just did a search on www.ironsearch.com for used Kubota and John Deere Compact Tractors nationwide. A search for Kubota yielded 137 hits, John Deere yielded 122 hits.

That machinefinder.com yeilded 705 JD, 86 Kubota. Might also have something to do with the text on machinefinder.com front page which says "Welcome to John Deere's MachineFinder".

Going way off topic here....

Yes I use that site also, better for Kubota for sure. Was trying to simplify my post a bit because I get a bit wordy. My point is there appears an easier time finding almost all models of JD used, the machinefinder site being excellent for JD. One can type just about any model of JD there (regardless of current/noncurrent model) and find it. If you use multiple sites (as I do) using the best one for each brand, you’ll find it is much easier to locate JD’s than it is Kubota. You’ll find almost no current model Kubota used. I think it would be easier to find them if KUB did what JD does with a dealer or brand specific site, but it appears to me Kubota doesn’t want used floating around?

BTW....another reason Kubota reminds me of Honda....in my area both brands have horrible dealers that over price by a wide margin and have obnoxious hucksters for sales people who don’t know their product but know how to lie real well. The local Toyota dealer is more realistic on their prices and has very knowledgeable and courteous sales staff. I know it’s just my region because the Kubota dealers I met on vacation in NC and GA were nice and very good, more fairly priced and well stocked with product.

Different manufacturers back different used search engines, thats what that happens. www.ironsearch.com is free to all NH dealers. Kubota does not push us towards anything that I am aware of.

According to those “in the know” on the JD board, the new improved JD 2305 which replaces the JD 2210 will debut at a lower price than the current model. Wonder if Kubota will follow?
)

According to some of the posts in the Deere forum they are still paying about a $1000 premium. Deere does not do their customers favors, they may lower the price but they'll offer a dozen options to make up for the difference.

That Woods F21D you have shouldn’t be left out in the winter cold, wanna send it to Fl for a vacation? Maybe packaged with a B2410 to keep it company.

Looks like the latest financing news is out and extended to 12/31/05. Nice to see three months coverage rather than the “ends at the end of the month” deal. I looked over the weekend and it showed 0% having been reduced to 24 months, but today it shows 0% for 36 months. Strange it shows no 60 month but 72 month at 4.99% remains the same. Also appears they have added more models (B, BX, L & Z Series) to the $500. instant rebate revolving credit deal.
