Anyone know what these pallet forks might fit?

My father-in-law had purchased these and they dont fit his JD, but searching google, I cant figure out what they might fit.

The attachment point is about 36" on center.

Any thoughts? I figured because they were green it was for a JD but I have no idea.

Because they are JD green I'd say they fit a JD. Probably a model that uses a different loader than your FIL. Does your FIL have the JD quick attach system. If so those forks could be modified to fit.

My FIL's machine does have the quick attach system. He passed away last year and I've been tasked with selling his stuff so its not too important to try and get these to fit his machine - I'd just like to be able get these a good home but thats tougher without knowing what they are for. Seems all the new forks these days have the upper safety grid to prevent stuff from falling back, so I'd think this is fairly old.

Hopefully other members with JD loaders can measure theirs and follow up with you as to which loader they fit.

If your FIL had a previous JD tractor with FEL that may be a clue.

At the right price they'd be on my trailer converted to 3point hitch. My loader is rated to 1800 pounds full height at the pins. My 3 point hitch is rated to 3600 pounds at the pins. Anyone have any guesses on the actual difference in lifting ability 12" off the ground?

If you could provide some more exact measurements. I might be interested in buying them. (not sure how we could ship to GA though) I have a vtek loader on my yanmar which is similar to many smaller JD tractors. My loader may be the "pin and hook" style previously mentioned. I'll attach a pic. My dimensions are 38" center to center and the pin "pockets" are 3-1/8" wide on the inside, and top pin to bottom pin is 10-1/8" center to center. Of course there is a little play in those of about 1/8" +/-. Either way, I hope this helps and I am in the market for some forks that will fit my loader.

These will be for older loaders when buckets, etc where pinned on. EX 148, 158 Loader.

From the size of the frame and pin placements, it is more than likely for a smaller John Deere series loader, such as the 145, 146, 148 & 158. Do you know what the vertical measurement is from pin to pins on each side? Also, the diameter of each pin slot?
