Anyone know what this part is that is held by the goldish bracket? My bx24 will not start unless I pull the goldish lever out each time.

Anyone know what this part is that is held by the goldish bracket? My bx24 will not start unless I pull the goldish lever out each time.

Fuel shut off solenoid. It shuts off the fuel delivery to the injector pump when you turn off the key. Blown fuse? or wiring problem, or could be defective solenoid there is probably a timer relay also to activate that solenoid
