anyone made a homemade brush cutter

I own a steel fabrication company in Georgia and now own a case 1845c, I want one of these brush cutters but they are more than i am willing to spend, with that being said has anyone here built a brush cutter? We are able to fabricate most anything and my limited knowledge on hydralics has me stumped.

What motor and driect drive gear box are they using? I think the output of my case is around 21 if this helps.

I also have a Case 1845c. A friend of mine that passed away started this project. He acquired a nice bush hog, cleaned it up and painted it up nice, and ordered a hydraulic motor matched to the hyd output. I only need to make a mount for the motor to sit on the bush hog and couple to the gearbox, and order up some hoses and QD. All that just might give you some ideas. Do you have low flow only? Do you use 10W-30, with a Case additive in the hydraulic system.

I also have a Power-Trac 1445, that has about 6 or seven hyd attachments. I have made an adapter for the Case to use all the hydraulic attachments, as the hyd outputs are similar. I have some extra skidsteer forks if interested.
