I was wondering if someone made some front fender extensions for the HPX? Since the rear has black plastic fender extensions, I figured the front would look sweet with some too! I have an extra front fender extension from my Honda Rubicon and laid it up next to my gator and it was about the right contour, but really no good way to mount it witout drilling a bunch of holes to put in those pushpins.

I know you'll probobly would have to drill holes and use those Honda push pins ~~~

BUT, them things are worth gold. They saved my rubicon back left fender once., and all I had to do is go to the Honda Shop, and purchase a bag of them and replace ( $ 3.50 ) Fender flare just like new again ~~~

Good friend of mine, threw two back flares and one front one time ( at different times ), on the second time, he made the mistake and Installed some flush nut & bolts. They looked good, but then, it happened again, and nothing gived, and he busted the crap out of perfectly good fender. Fender cost a heck of a lot more than the push-pins ~~~~~ I see why they installed them from the factory that way ~~ It's a great idea !!!!

I might be able to use the pushpins that Deere uses to hold the center console on. But the flares are just alittle too short for the front. They don't come down long enough. So, does anybody have any ideas? Has anyone installed a set?

You want to make the fenders stick out more?? Why?? Are you going to put a wing on the back too? Maybe some neons?

Get a set of heavy duty fender guards. They make the front end look great and are tuff as heck as far as fender protection..................Roger:D

A wing? Get real. That's why I live on a farm and drive a big ole Ford stroker. My reason was to keep the mud inside the fender. When I get into mud, I get some that comes up on the side and on me. Wife can only take so much mud. lol

519NASCAR, I love the look of your gator. That HD brush guard and fender guards sure does change the look of the front. That brush guard is a heck of alot better than my cheap ole headlight guards.

Hay 519NASCAR. You ought to put another set of mudflaps on the back like I did to keep the mud down. Aint hard to do. Another thing that ought to come standard from Deere. Looks funny having a set on the front side of the rear fenders and not on the rear.

If you put overfenders on the front, the front will be wider than the rear. That's not good if you ride on tight trails.
On wide open trails I'm sure it would be ok. It may not be aesthetically pleasing, but who cares.
Personally I think half doors that come to the bottom of the seat would work best. It would keep the mud out and keep your legs in.

I like the wing idea, may help keep the lid from blowing off my cooler. :D

i took them cheap old plastic front fender flaps off and made some out of 1/4 "rubber they work alot better plus they don't pop off vereytime a big chunk of mud flies off the tire and hits them or you crest a hill topand scrape the bottom and pull the stock plastic ones off.
