I have a 54" blade for my BX2230,which I only use for snow clearing. It would be nice to add another 8" to each side and 4" to the top to help clear away snow more quickly.I find the blade to be not high enough most of the time as any snow over 5-6"deep has snow coming over the top even when angled.I really do not need the power angle the 60" blade offers and the height is the same as the 54" so increasing the size of my blade would serve my purpose.I can weld and make the needed parts myself including larger skid shoes.I guess what I really am asking is if the BX will have the needed power to push the extra snow with a 70" blade and the added height. From what I have used this machine so far I think it would not be a problem.I'm sure someone out there has already played with a welder on a snowblade to increase it's size just waiting on your thoughts. Thanks Red
