Going by memory it lifts about 6"-8". I'm not sure if you mean lifting it high for mowing high grass or for ground clearance when doing other things. For tall grass it's plenty. For ground clearance you can high-center the tractor if you start having too much fun in the dirt. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
The attached pic is my 4400 with the deck nearly fully lifted. The reason it's "nearly" lifted is that I generally lower it a bit from full height to keep it from clunking against the top stops while driving on bumpy ground.
