Anyone own a TY330, or a T400-450

No problem. I never thought you were dense. The 2810 gear was the closest comparison but it is no longer part of the Mahindra line. The 3510HST is also gone and it was similar to the T330HST. A number of Mahindra dealers have signed with TYM because they like the TYM tractors and do not want to loose any of them.

If possible come visit with us this weekend in Louisville at the International Lawn and Garden Expo.

I think you will find the Mahindra 3510 (current model) is completly different from the TYM T330. The Mahidra 2810 (gear) was built on the TYM T330 chasis and transmission. The Mahindra 3510HST was built on the TYM T330HST Chasis and transmission. The current Mahindra 3510 (only available as gear/shuttle) and 4110 are both basicly the same tractors. They are built on the TYM T400 chasis and transmission. The 3510 has a 35hp Kioti engine and the 4110 has a 41hp Kioti engine. (and larger tires than the 3510)

I can understand people getting confused with Mahindra's numbering system. (similar number, 3510/3510HST, completely different tractor)

Thanks for the invite Chipperman, but I'm afraid I've got other commits for this weekend.

But I did get a chance today to dig a bit with a K2 (223) series hoe and loader... I have to say that I was really impressed, it's a really stout little tractor! Much more tractor than the BX series, and just about the same size.

I'm still debating if it's large enough for my needs, I plan on driving a T330 in 3 or 4 weeks and will probobly wait to decide till then. Still trying to get a read on the 3pt lift specs... may just have to try it to really find out!

BIG differences between K2's and a 330. Love the K2's for manueverability: awesome mower and light-duty digger. Way more machine than a BX series. For mowing, not much PTO difference between a 330 and a T273. But, K2's don't have the weight for digging that the 330 does. The 330 is substantially larger, and consequently will handle much larger implements.

That's why I'm probobly going to go for the 330 if the price with a BH is OK..I have a "lawn mower" and will only use the tractor for brush hogging, digging, and moving stuff...

Can anyone comment on why the 3pt specs are LESS for the 330 than for a K2? That doesn't make sense to me, but on both the website and the printed brochures...they spec 1199 lb for the 330 and 1653 lb for the K2! (both 24" out)

I'm not going to get hung up on a typo, but geez...makes you wonder about their other lift capacities, etc. Come-on dealers, let's get the facts straight!

Buy it, T450's are excellent tractors and kick all the competitors buts! I drove, Kybota, Yuchi, Mahindra, Case, Deer, and Massy 20-50hp. They simply are not as well featured, designed and constructed. Drive one, you will get your questions answered and end up buying one.

So, maybe I missed this but what is the correct lift capacity of the T330? I like TYM alot but the T330 seems a bit low. Am I missing something?

You're right . The 330 has surprisingly low lift capabilities for its size. What are you mounting?

Even though this thread is a little old, I'd guess a typo in TYM's spec.
I'm not sure which unit has the error but, I'll bet one does.
Look at the capacity at the link ends, then 24" out, and compare the two.
Something looks incorrect.
