anyone reading Y: The Last Man graphic novel

I'm not a big graphic novel reader.. but just recently read the walking dead.. cuz.. well.. I like zombies

Any way.. happened to see the Y series.. looks to be a situation where all men have been killed off by a disease or something.

was interested to see if there were any readers or past readers of the series that might offer praise or criticism as to picking up the series.

no spoilers please.. just do you think it was worth the read or not?

Funny you should post this today--I just read it. It was the only graphic novel I've ever read. My son bought it, he lent it to my daughter and she passed it on to me. I thought it was a pretty good read. Could have been better, though.

IF you love zombie books, read wwZ an oral history of the zombie wars, great book, well written and had a great style.

I LOVE the Walking Dead Comics. The TV was pretty good as well, if a bit of a departure from the comic (but that's okay with me as long as the story is pretty solid).

WWZ is definately a fun read if you are a zombie-holic.


I read Y-the last man, but it's been a while. It just didn't appeal to me like the zombie comics.

i'm a for sure die hard ( pun intended ) zombie fan.

I've got the walking dead up tot he current issue.. say the 6 episode pilot ( 13 more episodes come out next october!! ).

picke dup the 'Y' today at lunch.. will see how it goes.
