I found a paint this weekend that matches the orane on my Kubota perfect and it was around $3 a can.

I bought it at the True Values Harware store up the street I will get the name and # off the can tonight and post it for you.

I am sure it isn't top of the line paint but for thing like attachments and touch up on the mower deck I sprayed it on my mower deck and after it dried I couldn't find the spot I painted.

The Kubota orange from TSC is pretty reasonably priced. It wears very well too.

Yep Junk that Thread was the reason I posted this. I will get the Name a paint # of the can tonight and post it for all to share.

I am sure there will be people that don't mind the price of the Kubota paint and will continue to use it but for the poor (not so deep pocketed) folks like myself I think this paint is a nice substitute

I bought some of that Kubota orange from TSC, and after I tried it, I took it back. I thought it was way too yellow. I wound up going to the dealer and got some factory paint. It matched perfectly. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was given a can of Kubota Orange II by the dealer when I purchased my tractor and the match is poor to say the least. I bought a can for $3.99 at Consumer Auto Parts and the match is perfect. This is Bright Beauty brand engine paint, BB407 Chev. Orange. I have used it for painting a complete part and when it was bolted to the tractor snowblower, you couldn't tell that it wasn't a factory original part. That is more than I can say for the Kubota can of paint. I also realize that paint changes from lot to lot and I might have gotten a bad lot of Kubota spray paint. Bright Beauty is a division of the Sherwin-Williams Company.
