Anyone use “Crossfire” on dual tires?

What I would be concerned with is if you lose the air in one tire, do you lose the air in both tires?

No. The valve blocks off slow or sudden air losses. Check out the video. Pretty cool

Years ago I used something similar called Cat's Eye on a highway tractor. Yes they work.
