Anyone use a FARMI winch on a 2615 or smaller

Anybody have any experience with a FARMI logging winch and a 2615. Just wondering if it's enough tractor as they make one for 20-30 hp tractors. Thanks

I sold a Mahindra 2810 with a Wallenstein log winch this past spring. The 2810 is about 600 lbs heavier than the 2615, but the Wallenstein log winch is also larger than the small Farmi winch, that I think you are talking about. I think it should work fine.

I have a Farmi JL290 winch for my 2015. It only weighs 390 lbs. I use it all the time because part of my property is a really steep slope where I can't pull trees up the hill, but I can winch them up from the top.

The tractor has more than enough power to run the winch, and once you start pulling, and the winch digs into the ground, you're not going anywhere!!! I haven't ever used it to it's capacity though.

The only thing I try to be careful of is... ... The way the Farmi is set up, with the high pulling point, I believe (could be wrong) that it could possibly overstress the bracket where the top link on the 3pt hooks to the tractor. I'd hate to pay that repair bill.

I'd think you're tractor would do just fine with a farmi. I've got the same one you're looking at 351P. I don't have any pictures of it in action. But with my tractor I can pull and drag out 40'+ logs having a base diameter of 25" or more. If you can't pull the size you've cut, just cut it a little smaller. I can't imagine cutting some of the trees I cut with out using the winch-200'+ cable really comes in handi.
