I did the weld on euro style hooks. I prefer the ball and socket connection to the pin and hook on the Pats system since there is less slop, but still with the full range of motion. If you don’t mind welding and not being able to switch back I think either style hook is a better more solid connection than the Pats pin on.
I am assuming that tractor is Cat 2 so you should be fine with the 2/1 hooks that agristore USA or that Mr FitRite Hydraulics can provide. If I was going to do it again I might try to find a true Cat 1 hook since I have a smaller tractor and tend to have smaller implements. The euro hook requires more clearance room behind the pin than the Pats system, and I found my brush hog has some minor interference. The euro hooks would also be compatible to a similar category sized one piece quick hitch.
