just wandering if anybody out there is using an older pull type disc behind their BX for garden work? if so what size? I have noticed some smaller one's coming up at upcoming sales in the coming weeks.
anyone use a pull type disc with a BX ?

I used a very light duty 5' Athens disc on a BX2200 before selling the disc. Soil penetration wasn't that impressive. The turf tires did a fine job and didn't seem to slip as much as was expected.
There are discs made for ATVs so the BX is fine with a light disc. The ATV ones have wheels for transporting it and they are drag only of course. Tractor Supply sells one that is about 4' wide.
My wife thinks they are "cute". (gag)
Edit: Almost forgot to mention that the 3 PH lift arms on the BX are so low that there is not much room left to get the disc off of the ground without shortening the top link.
