Just got a DR Brochure and they have a 3-point chipper. I have been looking for one but it seems to be a little light duty (4 1/2" capacity). Does anyone have one? Any other competitor products and experiences?

I looked at their chippers a few years ago but decided that they were making too many other products to really be able to put out a good chipper, one with durablity and that would last over the long haul. I went with a Bearcat 5" PTO, hyd feed, and I have never looked back. It is well build and will last a long time. I put about 50 hours on it last summer and I was chipping mostly dry piles that I had made years earlyer. Dry wood chips harder because of the lack of moisture for lub.

There was recently a long and detailed discussion of the DR Chipper. Try searching for it.
