Anyone using an '07 6284D? Cost?

Hi All,

I'm in the middle of buying my next tractor. I saw them at the Cub dealer and I have pricing.

Tractor: 12,500
Loader: 2,500
Snow blower: 2,700
Backhoe: 5,875
Canopy and soft cab: 1,800
(rounded to the nearest 25 dollar mark, in USD and with all mtg and pto kits)

However I have read that the '06 and earlier have a few little issues. The dealer assures me that Cub has ironed them out with the '07's.

I have dealt with this dealer in the past and I believe that he's telling me that in good faith but since the only '07's he has that I know of are still on the lot, I'm a bit concerned that info may be direct from the factory reps.

He may need to sharpen his pencil a bit on the tractor price as most others are reflecting a 10% or more discount but the tractor is discounted less than 5% according to his quote. What have you paid?

In about 4 days he should have his new cub cadet/yanmar tractors in. Then see what difference in price there is for an 07.

FWIW, I never bought a canopy/cab for mine. CC prices were too high. There are other manufatureres that make them. I think the sticker on the tractor is 12999, so he isn't moving much there. I think their backhoes are overpriced, but that is me. Is he including all the rails/subframes for the loader and the backhoe as well as installation for that price? If not, you will find that those items are not cheap.

Mine's not an 07 and I did a trade in for mine but ....

-The number on the tractor seems a little high.
-The blower number is a good one . (if that's all the hardware, included)
-I'd choose another canopy.
-The hoe is about 800.00 more than I paid. ( but that was almost 4 yrs ago)
