Anyone willing to help the new guy....electric over hydraulic da power unit wiring???

Hello from rainy foggy Illinois! I have an Oildyne 108 series DA power unit and can't seem to wrap my head around the wiring diagram. It has 3 wires coming from the unit, blue green and black. Can anyone PLEASE break down the attached diagram so a simple guy like myself can understand it?
Do I need to wire in TWO solenoids? If so, what kind? Can they be had from a local auto parts store? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out. thanks i advance!

The reason you need the solenoids is the current draw of the motor. You won't find a switch rated for 100 amps.
Regular automotive relays are only good for about 30 amps so they won't work either. You might look for some small starter solenoids like garden tractors use.

This is a bidirectional motor so to reverse the motor rotation you must connect either the Green lead or the Blue lead to the positive (+) terminal. To do this would require two relays or starter solenoids capable of handling the motor amp draw. You can use one toggle switch to power these two relays or starter solenoids.

Blue lead supplies oil to the left hand port.
Green lead supplies oil to the right hand port

So if I get the remote unit pictured below, I won't need any other relays or solenoids. Am I correct?

I presume that that remote unit has the two starter solenoids built in so no you would not anything else but the wire.

Think of the power flowing like water from the left side of the diagram(+12v) to the right side of the diagram(to the 12v neg).

So if you start on the top left, come down and go to the right till you get to the switch. The switch will decide which branch the current will flow, and current will flow through #1 or #2 coils on the solenoids. It will then keep flowing to the right, and then back up to the 12v neg of the battery.

When a solenoid is selected and activated by the switch, it will mechanically close the contacts in the solenoid. Those are pictured as the -I I- in the diagram. Same as the other circuit, the current will flow from left to right, through the selected contact (-I I-) to the correct wire to the motor, through the motor, and then will go back up the right side of the diagram up to the 12v neg.
