I can't cook, except make coffee & heat soup...but I used this apple peeler/corer, cinnamon, a little sugar, butter in center where core was, heat 2-3 minutes in microwave. Horses like peelings.

We have an old apple orchard, and we (wife) put up apple sauce, apple this and apple that every year, give a lot of the crop to the VFW.

Looks great ! Going to make it tonight! I’ve been looking into different types of fasting, and fruit fasting really intrigued me. My wife does something similar. She usually bakes them in the oven though. Sometimes she'll put some of the "Cinnamon Red Hots" candy where the core had been.

We'll do this in a camp Dutch oven when we're out camping too...

The baked apples also go good with a hard cider. We live close to "Apple Hill" in the Gold Country between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. Every couple of years I'll get fresh apple juice and make hard cider.
