Aquiline tire chains any good?

My dad and I are both looking for chains for our tractors. We use them in the woods regularly and we like the looks of the aquiline talon and foresttrac chains. I'd like some feedback on the quality of these chains. They sure save you some money over the TRYGG chains but if they are not quality I want no part if them. Any feedback would be appreciated! I just put them on my 5083E. They seem like they are very sturdy and they almost eliminate my need for 4wd when putting round bales out for my horses. I certainly regret carrying them for the distances that I did when I got them! I'm still getting used to running them "loose". I had to tighten them up a link because I walked one off center and could not straighten it back up. I like them alot better than the duo-grips I have on my front tires.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah...I had duo grips on an old ford and they were rough as a cob and really not even that good on ice. The v-bar grips on the talons look like the way to go.

I have been running the v-bar duo's on the fronts all year last year and I was less than impressed although chains was alot better than no chains! I tightened up the pattern so the ride was not really an issue. this year I got the talons for the rears and wow what a difference. I would be sweating bullets if I needed to run down the road unless there was some snow pack on it, but I can get around on my hills in 2wd pretty easily though 4wd makes the uphill turns much easier! (I leave my split peddles locked together)

Glad the chains seem to be working well for you. The more I look the more faith I have aquiline supplies a stand up product.
