I live in the foothills of the Adirondacks and last year we had a very cold winter (-10,-20 & -35 degrees) our tractor was parked outside with a battery maintainer, block heater plugged in with a tarp covering it, we used the Arctic Blast and we never had any gelling.
Our fuel tank is under the hood near the motor so once you start the tractor, the heat from the motor helps keep it warm. I'm not sure if we lucked out last year or if it was the Arctic Blast but we'll use it again this year but our tractor will be stored in a unheated garage.
What model Mahindra do you have? Another thing that I do is contact the company that I buy my diesel from so I have an idea when the winter blend diesel gets to the Sunoco station, the winter blend diesel usually gets hear for November. Once we hit fall then I usually only buy five gallons at a time if it's still their summer blend diesel.
