I just ordered a pair of 120 watt led lights for the front and a pair of 60 watt led lights for the rear. Are these 120 watt lamps going to be to big for the alternator to keep or make the alternator work to hard. This is on a MT357.

It would help if you could post a link to the lights you purchased...

tractor data indicates that you have 70 charging amps from your alternator.
The lights will draw about 30 amps at 12 volts. You will probably have to wire for seperate switches with fuses.
120 watts divided by 12 volts = 10amps for each light, approximate.

The 60 watt lights will draw around 5 amps each,

Keep in mind the Wattage stated could be a figment of the maker's/seller's imagination. Check the size of the wire when the lights come in. If it's not at least 14ga wire, the lights may not be 120w. Also consider that the voltage of a running tractor is closer to 13.4-13.7 volts and that will reduce the amp-draw of each light.

Do those LED lights actually draw 60 and 120 watts, or is that the light output equivalent?

For example, a 100 watt equivalent light bulb uses just 14 watts of electricity:

If the LED lights you ordered really draw 120 watts, that is a heck of a lot of light for a tractor. Lights that powerful are generally used to light parking lots.

I just installed the 120W Nilight lamps you are using and installed them. They come with 16awg wire. The do draw 120w. I had an issue with the front blowing a fuse but that was installer error. They sell plugs that you can wire in to make these plug and play to the stock wire harness.
There's fuses for the front work lights and the rear work lights on the side pillar near your left ear. I installed a 25A fuse for my front lamps - the rear lamps fuse is fine as is. I blew the front fuse because I plugged the plug from the lamp in backwards. Was weird, since it shouldn't have blown but I went with a bigger fuse and no problems.

Here's what they look like hooked up and lit. They are bright af. I bought them for night time snow work as we plow with the storm here in the fingerlakes. They might be too bright tbh - we will see ..... Also the stock wire harness works fine you dont need new switches or any new wiring other that a plug to make it all plug and play.

Here's a link to a you tube vid on the install:
