I have a BX2200 with 357 hours and I have noticed that the hoses all get very hot, hard to touch sometimes. This is regardless of whether the FEL is attached or not. Is this normal?
Also I noticed that even after 2 hours of mowing my 3PH arms are even very warm..
Thanks
Rick

Yes, hydraulic fluid gets very hot when pumped to the pressures these tractors use. HST transmissions also contribute to the heat.

Yes, typically between 140-170F. Too hot to comfortably hold for a long time. If it is much hotter than that, your oil cooler may be clogged up with dust or chaff.
