I am in the market to buy a new tractor to replace my B2400 which is underpowered for my needs. My local dealer has an L3400DT (gear drive) without loader on the lot that I am interested in. Asking price is $13,900 without the $1000 cash rebate.

From reading the forums, it looks like the new L3200/3800 line started shipping around February of this year, so the dealer has probably had this one for at least 6 months.

My question is are there incentives for dealers to move these older line machines, and has anyone been able to get a good deal on the discontinued L series machines?

Thanks.

Normally they are lower priced to begin with! On the other side the new model will hold it's value longer.
