Mowing Are we allowed to sell on here? I got a GC series MMM deck to sell.

Hi, if this is not allowed, my apologies, mods please delete. I got a nearly new 60" drive-over deck I'm selling, Model 45-0440 that goes on GC17xx tractors. Wanting $2300. I'm in the Chicago NW burbs.

May I ask why you would be selling it? If you stored it and kept it from being weathered it would add value if/when you resell your machine.

That said...I would like to move on from my 54" to a 60" lol

I would buy it-my dealer told me it would work on my GC2410. Problem is I am in Maine so by the time its shipped here and the cost I would just buy a new one locally.

I hear ya, we were debating keeping it stored just in case. But we already have a 50" deck on a gt for mowing which I have to come back and use anyways coz the 60" is too big for some spots. Plus, we could use a grapple we'd buy with the proceeds.

I actually use my Cub cadet 2206 with 48" deck for most of my mowing. Nothing against GC's, I love the look of the cut! I'm not as thrilled about the difficulty going under and around trees, hooking the ROPS and snapping lights off.

I was really surprised on how nice the cut is with the 60 inch deck, my 6 acres looks real nice when I am done although my Cub Cadet RZTL 54 does a real nice job too just takes longer and I get shaken up pretty good from the ruff ground. Cub uses about 5 gallons and the GC about 1.5 or so, it doesn’t get below the full circle if I fill it all the way up.
I like how this guy stores his deck.
