Price Check Argh! Price increases on B-series!

Kubota's price configuration system is available once again. It must have been offline for pricing adjustments because B-series base prices and attachments are all higher now. The equipped B2620 I was looking at is going to cost me $1600 more than the quote I put together on 21 June. The dream gets farther away

$1600 sounds like a large increase, considering the economy..
I'd be looking for a '08 left-over. Dang $1600...awfully large!!

The B2620 base price has gone from $12,516 to $13,084. The 60" mower deck went from $2180 to $2381 for example. Similar price increases have been applied to everything in the custom options and attachments list. Must be the sinking dollar and the price of oil behind all this

Steele is sky high, tractors and all hydraulic equipment are just going to keep going up in cost. I took the big hit in april on my L and got 3.9% apr, im glad i locked in when i did and im happy with the deal i got. The tractor is awesome!

I got lucky, and found a B2620 that was invoiced before July 1. I expect that there is still time to do that for those of you who are serious about buying now. I had heard about the coming 5%, or so increase, and that sure helped make up my mind! Call around, some of the stuff still in crates was invoiced before the price increase, and some of the assembled stuff on the lots might have been too.

I just ordered a new John Deere 4120 and noticed a 10% increase over 1 year since I priced them last.

When I purchased my BX 24 last month the dealer told me that they were expecting a price increase across the board in July. This along with the 0%financing, the dealer incentive and price increase for the BX 25 was the main reason I pulled the trigger.

Wait until we all see the inflation for just about everything that is set up for 2009. I expect interest rates and inflation to have huge jumps next year once housing demand returns some and economic activity overall goes up. At some point workers are going to demand increases to match the cost of living and when the market is such that they have options, the wages will go up. All that is inflation and its coming on strong soon.

hey guys,
i never got a free hat (gold, silver or orange) when i purchased my bx w/
54" fine cut, fel, grill guard, weight box, hd60 front blade with squeege edge,
ag and turf tires on second wheel set . . . . i guess they saw the kick me sign on my fanny, and decided to sell my hat to some other fool!
am reluctant to go to the dealer for fear that i might automatically go with his pricing on a land pride tiller and order it . . . . carry on! robert a.
