ARGON Same Deutz-Fahr; HELP!

Any one have experience with SAME tractors?

The same company that makes the Lamborghini in Italy makes these units.
Their even painted fire engine red /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif! But I suspect it would not fare well in the quarter mile.

All kidding a side, the Argon series looks like it may be a pretty good tractor, and the cost is slightly less than the Kubota. The FEL has a nice quick change for the bucket.
Any experience with reliability, etc?

Phred I have been looking for a small crawler tractor(other than the chinese one) I see SAME makes one. Have you seen a SAME tractor in person and where did you get pricing from?
They are probally very good tractors I am just wondering about parts or service in the States

AGCO has worked out some kind of deal with the SAME group. Both of my Massey Ferguson dealer's now sell and service SAME tractors. They don't have any problem getting parts for them. I would say look up your local MF dealer and see if they are also selling SAME's.

Just like JerryG says, the MF dealer in my area has a number of these in stock. I don’t think parts and service will be a problem. I just have never heard of any one that actually owns one. I have looked the ARGON 60 over and it appears well built.

They seem like a good deal and a good combination of features. I need something about 45-60 PTO HP, and 4-wheel drive. I like the fact that these machines have a low center of gravity since my farm is pretty vertical in places. A MF with comparable features is a good deal more, and a Kubota seems a little bit higher. Not to mention the JD and Ford products.
