I have asked my Dealer about getting the arm rest kit for the 4410 I have on order. It is not listed as an option and he is seeing why. The kit is part number LVB25169.

The JD parts page shows the same seat LVA12330 for the 4410 and the 4710. The arm rest kit is listed with the 4710 but not the 4410. The arm rest kit is listed for the 4510 and up.

In 2003 the seat was changed on the ten series and the arm rest kit changed as well. The arm rest on the older seat looked to strap a metal braket to the back of the seat. The newer kit seems to bolt on the sides in some fasion.

Any one have an idea why it wouldn't work on the 4410 and down series if the 4210-4710 use the same seat part number? Wondering if there is a clearance issue to the sides of the seat with the 4410 and lower models?

My sales person E-mailed me today and said he ordered a set of the arm rests and would try and put them on. If they don't fit the 4410 he said they would just shelf them for someone else. He couldn't locate an answer from Deere so he decided to just try them.

If someone else here doesn't know I will post my results when they find out. Looking to receive the 4410 sometime after the 4th of July.

I put an arm rest kit on both my 345 and 4700. The rest has a metal bracket curved to match the black seat shell, and it is screwed into the shell with 3 small bolts/nuts.
Don't know whether the 4x10 series changed the design of the seat and the arm rests.
I like them. I traded the 345 in for a x595, and tried mounting the rests on the newby -- no luck. Don't see up-to-date rests for the 595 on the JD website.

John, maybe I missed something in the link you posted for the seat arm rests but I did not see any arm rest kits in the links. Just the seat parts. I wouldn't mind having an arm rest on my 4410 as well. Nothing like adding a little tractor creator comfort. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have the armrest option on my 4610 and find them almost useless. The rests mount too far down to rests both arms at the same time. I can lean over and use one at a time. Maybe some short engineer designed them?

Hi Randy,

Nah... you didn't miss anything... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I just posted the two different style seats used... I didn't find the "new" (if one if available) armrest kit... it's even possible the current armrest kit may fit "all" seats... I don't know.

Arm rests? Another matter of personal preference, apparently. My B7100 didn't have'em, but the B2710 did and I loved'em; kept'em down in place all the time. And of course, I spent a lot of time on my neighbor's Oliver and it had a very good suspension seat with arm rests and I always used those arm rests and really liked'em, but when he used that tractor, he always folded them up and never used them. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Sure seemed much more comfortable to me with them.

My Massey 165 had them, and it was great.../forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif (never had such luxury on a tractor!) /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Just had to have them on the new JD... dealer ordered them... came in about 3 months later... in the meantime I got comfortable resting my right arm on the fender and holding the grab handle... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

So... my John Deere arm rests are still setting in the factory box waiting to be installed & used... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
