Gentlemen,
I found a reasonable Kubota Dealer in Normangee, Texas however they have no provision for shipping the tractor. The total savings over the local dealer is in excess of $3200. Granted ya gotta make your arrangements to get it... :)

Does anyone know of a service that allows for partial loads coming east? I don't mind picking the tractor up anywhere in VA, however, I'd prefer not to go too much further. Thank you ahead of time...

Tractor will be a 6040 or 7040 Shuttle with FEL. Your input is appreciated.

Regards, Matt Garrett.

I got a better deal using "freightz.com" than others when I shopped around for a Little Wonder blower that I bought in Texas. It will also give you a price quote on the spot... just another choice for you to check out

Before making that shipping call, you might want to consider how much money you will really be saving. How much more will it costs to be shipping the unit back to Texas for any possible warranty work.

In the event you may ever need warranty work, your local dealers may tell you to ship it back to Texas for warranty work. Is saving a few dollars going to be worth that hassle?

I would do some more shopping around by vehicle, then by internet. Just something to think about.

hello? kubota? hi, i'm mister x and i just bought a new kubota and my local dealer refuses to work on it because i didn't buy it from him. does this mean i just spent $xx,xxx on something that is effectively a boat anchor, and your corporation will not help me resolve the problem?

i'm sure that call won't make it any farther than that.

My local Mahindra dealer will NOT do any warranty work unless you purchase the tractor from them. Oh the other hand they only have 8 tractors and only a few of them are Mahindra.

Or better yet, "sure we will change your oil at 50 hrs service. Drop it off and call us in October when we slow down from working on everybody else's tractors.
Not to give the impression I will stand behind a dealer with poor service history, because I buy my parts at a dealership almost 500 miles from my home, because they take the time to help me when I need help and my local one. Didn't.

Wishful thinking, but when you wake up to real world and see that it really does not work that way then like It was stated, that's when the hassle starts. Besides, maybe that dealer will use it as his boat anchor.
