Price Check Asking price for Ford 1000

I have a Ford 1000 which ran fine for 13 years when my husband was alive, but he died in 2008 and I want to sell it. It won't start and I'm not going to pay to get the problem diagnosed. I'd like some idea of how much to ask for it "as is." I think everything on it is standard equipment; it does have a bucket. It's in the Fresno, CA area, if that makes a difference in its value.

In non-running condition, it's a pig in a poke for any buyer. $500 to $1000 if you are lucky. Probably closer to $500. Price it to sell, or you will be bothered by tire kickers until you settle on a deal. It is not an attractive tractor for most buyers as parts availability and age are two insurmountable problems.

if you were in florida I'd go take a look at it and try to drag it home. the first construction job I worked I drove a 1000 with a sprayer behind it doing weed control..

ditto what rick said.. a non runner with bad parts support is gonna max out around 500$ around here. Too many unknowns for a buyer to pay more for something that may not even be a good parts tractor, depending on what is or is not wrong with it.

Is it just a tractor that you have? If you put it up for sale, don't forget to include any attachments that he might have used with it. Unless you want a "yard " decoration you might as well sell everything. Some attachments might get you as much or more than the tractor. If you do have any and can post pictures, I'm sure there are knowledgealbe members who could give a good estimate of value and what they are if you don't know what to call them.
